What is PCC? Pseudo City Code
A Pseudo City Code (PCC) is the identifier a GDS assigns to a travel agency location or account; it controls which fares, credentials, queues and ticketing rights apply to bookings made under it.
Amadeus calls the same concept an office ID. Agencies often hold several PCCs — for different countries, currencies, brands or contracts.
Why it matters in software
The PCC used to search and book determines which negotiated fares are visible, which currency prices are returned in and who can ticket. A multi-market platform therefore needs explicit PCC routing rules, and must keep track of which PCC owns each PNR for later servicing. Moving a booking between PCCs is possible but involves queue and ownership changes.
